Korando Safety

Korando Safety

The new Korando looks and handles well, but that’s not all – it’s also the safest and strongest Korando ever. Our focus on safety is built-in from the body up, with a best-in-class chassis composed of 74% high-tensile strength steel. We’ve also fitted a 6 airbag system – which includes driver and passenger seat airbags, side and curtain airbags.

Safety for all includes our smart safety system – a continuously growing toolkit of advanced driving technology, designed to keep everyone safe on the road. This includes Autonomous Emergency Braking System (AEBS), Safety Distance Alert (SDA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Front Vehicle Start Alert (FVSA), along with driver aids such as High Beam Assist (HBA), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and Driver Attention Alert (DAA).

With all of these safety features, it's no surprise the New Korando scored 5 Stars in the latest most demanding Euro NCap test.

SMART SAFETY

Autonomous Emergency Braking System

When a frontal collision is anticipated, this function warns the driver and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision.

Front Collision Warning

Alerts the driver when another vehicle or pedestrian appears in the path of the vehicle.

Lane Departure Warning System

Notifies the driver when the forward camera module detects an unintended lane departure by the vehicle.

Lane Keeping Assist

The front camera module helps prevent unintended lane departure and if an unintended lane departure is detected (absence of a turn signal), LKA will automatically make a corrective steering adjustment.

Front Vehicle Start Alert

Alerts the driver when preceding stopped vehicle begins to depart

We are a credit broker and not a lender. We can introduce you to a limited number of lenders and their finance products. We are not an independent financial advisor. We may advise you on the products, subject to your personal circumstances, though you are not obliged to take our advice or recommendation. We do not charge you a fee for our services. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow). A customer may ask for commission disclosure at any time from our initial discussions through to the point when their agreement is set live. For your reassurance, all of the lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates, but the commission we receive does not influence the interest rate you will pay. Our aim is to secure finance for you at the lowest interest rate you are eligible for from our panel of lenders.
